Q. What is Grand Pacific Exchange (GPX)?

A. GPX is the internal exchange program exclusively for owners of Grand Pacific Resorts.


Q. What is the purpose of GPX?

A. GPX was created for Grand Pacific Resort owners to exchange internally within the family of resorts.


Q. What are the benefits of using GPX?

  • NO membership fees or annual dues.
  • Exclusive to GPR Owners.
  • Interactive online website allows you to deposit/search & exchange using your GPX Membership Number and password.
  • "Gift" your week to a friend or family member without any fees.
  • You do not have to pay any fees until we fulfill your exchange request.
  • Every owner gets the best in personalized service. You can contact a GPX Vacation Counselor directly by phone or email.
  • The ability to request first is a major advantage. You can check availability before depositing your week.


Q. When is the earliest I can deposit with GPX?

A. You can deposit your week from as early as (2) two years before the start date of your week to (14) fourteen days prior to your arrival.


Q. How long do I have to use my deposited week with GPX?

A. Your week deposited has a shelf life of (2) years from the start date. You must complete travel BEFORE the week expires.


Q. Can I rescue my deposited week with GPX if it's going to expire and I can't travel?

A. Yes. If your week is going to expire you have the option to extend your deposit for the following:

3 months: $49
6 months: $79
12 months: $99


Q. What if I need to cancel my exchange with GPX?

A. Don't worry. If you think you might have to cancel your exchange GPX offers Cancellation Protection (CPO) for your piece of mind. If you purchase CPO for your exchange this will insure your exchange fee and any upgrade fees paid may be applied to further exchanges. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to travel to retain your fees paid. Regardless if CPO is declined all fees paid are non-refundable. If CPO is purchased or not you will retain your deposit credit and it will expire on the original expiration date.


Q. What are the fees?

A. You don't pay an exchange fee until GPX finds your requested vacation and is ready to confirm that the transaction is ready to be made.

  • Membership- FREE
  • Exchanges- $149 domestic/ $169 international
  • Deposit credit extensions 3, 6 or 12 months for $49, $79 or $99
  • Cancellation protection - $20
  • Unit upgrade fees: When confirming a larger unit than what was deposited you are subject to an upgrade fee. Upgrade fees are as follows:

    • Studio deposit to a one (1) bedroom upgrade is $75
    • Studio deposit to a two (2) bedroom upgrade is $175
    • One (1) bedroom deposit to two (2) or three (3) bedroom upgrade is $175


Upgrade fee(s) in addition to the exchange fee will be collected by GPX the next business day. This will be collected as a separate charge


Q. Can I upgrade to a larger unit than the one I own?

A. Yes. Based on availability, you can upgrade to a larger unit. Refer to question above for breakdown.
