Resort Overview
Surfside Inn is set high on a ridge; every apartment overlooks the sea and it is situated on a 28-mile stretch of sand along the Washington coast and the peaceful Long Beach peninsula. The Washington coastline with its miles of beaches and charming communities is a popular destination. There is no elevator to access the first or third floors. The second floor is 'lobby level,' so if you are concerned with steps, you will need to be on the second floor. There is an indoor pool with retractable roof, an indoor spa, table tennis and arcade games, a children's play area, and common barbecue area. All units have full kitchens, a gas fireplace, cable TV with DVD/VCR, CD stereo, a private deck with gas barbecue, hairdryers in bathrooms, and sleeper sofas. There are no washer and dryers in the units, however there is guest laundry available. Each unit has a nice deck, and all units face the dunes and ocean. The peninsula consists of a number of small seaside communities with a diverse selection of shops, restaurants, historic buildings, lighthouses and museums. The area's natural beauty, miles of beaches and wildlife viewing locations lend themselves well to such activities as beachcombing, hiking, clam digging and bird watching. Enjoy golfing, and exploring areas like Leadbetter point & state park or the Willapa Bay National Wildlife Refuge. You can also enjoy horseback riding, bicycling, fishing, and hiking in the summer and more. Winter at the resort becomes a front row event with storm watchers who bundle up and head for Cape Disappointment.
